Jens Amborg has been awarded a five-year grant as a Wenner-Gren Fellow

We are delighted to share that Jens Amborg has been awarded a five-year grant as a Wenner-Gren Fellow. His project, Veterinary Colonialism: Animals, Knowledge, and Environment in the Eighteenth-Century French Empire, explores the intersections of science, empire, and the environment.

Jens will spend his first three years at the Department of History at Brown University, before joining us in Uppsala for the final two years. The grant also includes funding for a postdoctoral researcher to be employed within the project during its time in Uppsala.

Warm congratulations, Jens!
